What's nearby The Tynte?

The Tynte Arms Inn is in the small unspoilt village of Enmore which sits at the foot of the Quantock Hills - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and wonderful for walking.

What is there to do or visit nearby?
In the local area Enmore has its own attractions, not least its 12th Century Church, however energetic visitors to the Tynte will find plenty more to see and do in the area. The renowned Enmore Park Golf Club is just a quarter of a mile away; sailing only one mile distant, and good fishing nearby at Durleigh Reservoir or Hawkridge Reservoir. Other activities within easy reach include horse riding, cycling and walking.

Enmore Sign

We are a stone's throw from picturesque Nether Stowey with it's links to Coleridge, and beyond that Steart Marshes Nature Reserve, Holford, Kilve and other parts of the Sedgemoor coast such as Brean Down and Burnham on Sea

Bustling Bridgwater, which in September holds a very large livestock market and funfair, and in November its well known Carnival (sadly cancelled this year due to coronavirus), is a 10 minute drive in one direction, and Taunton, Somerset's County town and home of the Cricket Club, is 15 minutes in the other direction.

Slightly further afield you have the attractions of Street (Clarks Village), Glastonbury, Wells, Dunster, Watchet, Minehead and Bristol - all less than an hour away!
